Look Up, To the Sky With brisk steps, he moves through the city,  A desperate eye on the hands of his watch.  Above him, dawn’s soft rays of light Signal the start of a brand new day For workers who move forward in waves.  The office is all they see and know.  He cannot afford to be late, this he knows, For the sake of the bread he earns in the city.  And so his life ebbs and flows in waves,  Lacking ambition, never on the watch For something to brighten his day. All the while, shadows eat away at the light.  The burden on his back is by no means light. Its heavy weight is all he knows So he is blind to the clouds which darken our day.  Swirls of dust loom over the city, Threatening to silence the ticks of our watch And envelop our lungs in waves. Visions of flash floods, whose waves Rise over coastlines, blocking out the light, While entire cities can only watch As everything they have ever...
